Shanell started Sage Growth Solutions to fill the need she saw while working in the nonprofit sector. There were so many great ideas but not enough time to focus on the details and create the processes that would make execution easier. The expertise is usually there within the organization, but staff need assistance in taking the idea to a program that can then be executed without always feeling behind the eight ball.
She enjoys working in the details and finding ways to optimize how others work. Shanell has experience integrating CRM systems into an organization’s workflow, developing programming and manuals, creating and running volunteer programs, as well as writing targeted communication plans.
Capable of wearing many hats, Shanell likes to dive into an organization to understand the challenges and opportunities that exist. She will work closely with leadership and staff to devise solutions that are specific to the organization, honor their mission, and grow their capacity.
When not working, Shanell is an avid lazy gardener. She enjoys experimenting with plants and techniques in her backyard and her friends’ yards. She also spends quite a bit of time working on house and car projects with her husband.
